Founded as part of Nigeria’s National Youth Council — established in 1964 — the NYCN Greece Chapter is the official voice and home for Nigerian youth living, studying, and working in Greece. We are affiliated with the EU-NYCN network and carry the mandate of the national body across the Aegean.

The NYCN Greece Chapter was established to serve the growing Nigerian community in Greece — a nation with a rich ancient heritage that resonates deeply with Nigeria’s own proud history. Like Greece, Nigeria is a cradle of civilisation, culture, and intellectual achievement.
Our chapter operates as a non-profit, non-partisan organisation. We hold regular meetings, community events, and advocacy sessions designed to address the unique challenges Nigerian youth face in Greece — from immigration documentation to career opportunities and cultural integration.
We work hand-in-hand with Greek institutions, the Nigerian Embassy in Athens, and partner diaspora organisations to ensure every Nigerian youth in Greece thrives with dignity, purpose, and pride.
